Project CARE: Preparing ELLs for Future Success

English language language learners (ELLs) face up significant obstacles in realizing their full potential academically and professionally in the years following loftier school. This innovative project takes a comprehensive approach in developing some of the supports that can brand a meaning difference in the future success of an ELL high school student, including classroom education, parent engagement, and opportunities to learn more about the college feel. Keys to Success #1: Targeted Classroom Instruction

This section highlights strategies targeted to older ELLs' linguistic communication and literacy needs, along with ideas for how teachers can begin to introduce them in the classroom.  These strategies include sheltered teaching methods such as the use of language and content objectives and the use of resources in students' home languages.

Keys to Success #2: Parent Appointment and Training
